Happy Holi

Holi is one of the most joyful festivals of India. On this special day children run in all directions holding pichkaris (water guns) in hands playing water fight while others enjoy eating gujjiyas and throwing vibrant colours at others. Holi is celebrated on different dates each year, this year it falls on 29 of March. It is believed that Holi marks the victory of lord Vishnu's Narasimha avatar over the demon Hiranyakashyap which signifies the triumph of good over evil. It is also recognized for the imperishable love of Radha Krishna. Here is a short Hindi poem on Holi written by me -  रंगो का त्यौहार हैं होली  इस दिन पिचकारियों को हाथ में लेकर खेलने आ जाती हैं बच्चों की टोली  गुज्जिया  खाते  हुए मुँह मीठा करते हैं सब  हस्ते हस्ते पता ही नहीं चलता हैं की वक्त गुज़र जाता हैं कब  यह त्यौहार हैं मेरा मनपसंद  सब लेते हैं इस उत्सव का आनंद   - Jeevika Umesh A very HAPPY HOLI to all! May this Holi bring loads of happiness to everybody!

Mainly Nokia with the snake game. At that time we all spent time with each other rather than on these devices. Nowadays we mainly spend our time on gadgets. This time should be used for making memories with your family. Gadgets stay forever but humans are something that don't stay forever...that's the truth of life. Everything has pros and cons.Technology has given me a means to share my thinking with you all like I'm doing today. But,it comes with certain drawbacks too. My message today for everyone is not that completely stop use of devices but to use them at a limited time. My message is rather minimize the use of gadg
