If Columbus Didn't Discover America

So this is a funny topic but I and Tishya have made a lovely poem on it. We made it for the auditions of some competition and worked as a pair. The results will be out tomorrow but till then enjoy reading the poem! Thanks Tishya for being a perfect partner for me. 






Christopher Columbus was an explorer and navigator,

Famous for being called America's locator.

He sailed in 1492 

On the oceans blue. 

He set everyone exploring, and reshaped the world, introducing, Europeans to America,

Also caused the foundings of Mexico and Canada.

But what would have happened if this was not true,

If Columbus never discovered America along with his crew.

The possibilities of results are many

Our perspective is something very brainy

America would have been full of hunters

And not called a land of wonders

Some neighbouring country must have gobbled it up

Well, this would have meant, no president named Donald Trump

The flag of the Union would not have been logical

It might not even make sense or be symbolical

No achievements from NASA, the Apollo 11 moon landing, would have never occurred 

The economy, of the country must have terribly suffered

So, these events would have taken place,

But this would have confined America’s wonderful grace.

Wow, we just gave history a change

But wasn’t this story a little strange?
